What material is Peachtree jewellery made of?

All our jewellery is made using 100% non-toxic, food-grade silicone – the same material used to make many teethers and pacifiers on the market.  It is BPA free, phthalate free, lead free, PVC free and latex free so you can be sure it’s safe for you and your little ones.

 

Can my baby wear my necklace?

No – Peachtree necklaces are designed for adults and 3+ year olds to wear only.

 

Can I give my Peachtree bangle to my baby?

Yes – all our solid bangles can be given to a child under 3 years old to chew and explore independently under adult supervision.

 

Can I give my child a Little Miss Peach necklace?

Yes for 3+ year olds – The Little Miss Peach range is designed for children 3+ years to wear.

 

I’m using my jewellery as a teether, can I cool it to sooth my baby’s sore gums?

Yes – you can cool your jewellery in the refrigerator.  FDA advises against the use of medicines to ease teething pain and instead recommends the use of cooled objects for baby to chew on so Peachtree jewellery is ideal.  Please do not freeze your jewellery as it may compromise the silicone and cause it to crack.

 

How is Peachtree different to other jewellery products?

Peachtree offers a fun, fresh, safe and durable alternative to other jewellery products.  It is extremely practical for an active lifestyle – it’s non-toxic, super durable, waterproof, heat resistant, easy to clean, fun and bright, providing a beautiful jewellery choice for all ages and stages of busy modern life.

 

Is Peachtree jewellery Safety Standards approved?

Yes – Independent testing has been performed on our jewellery.  Our products are CPSIA compliant, carry the European CE mark for safety, FDA approved and certified to Australian & NZ safety standards AS/NZS ISO 8124.  This ensures our products are non-toxic, non-flammable and mechanically safe.  Our necklaces feature a breakaway clasp and knots between each bead for additional safety.  Our customised pieces made here in Singapore are not individually tested however they carry the same safety features as our safety standards approved jewels.

 

How do I care for my Peachtree jewellery?

We recommend hand washing all of our products.  Simply wash in warm soapy water and allow to air dry.  Our jewellery is also dishwasher safe on the top rack up to 65°C.  Please do not use aggressive cleaning agents or anti-bacterial cleaners.  Do not boil, steam or sterilise your jewellery in a microwave oven.

 

Can I adjust the necklace length?

Our beaded necklace length is fixed and cannot be adjusted.

Our pendant necklace length can be adjusted – simply cut the cord to the desired length (keep in mind this cannot be reversed), be sure to allow extra length for the knots to secure the clasps, re-thread the clasps and knot the cord.  If you are uncertain about this procedure and would like assistance, please contact us via our Contact Us page, we’d be very happy to help.

 

How long does my Peachtree jewellery last?

For continuous use by chewing/sucking children, we recommend checking regularly for any irregularities and if any tears in the silicone appear, discard immediately.

Otherwise, please be eco-friendly and keep it forever!  Silicone is an extremely long lasting material, it won’t fade or mark so you can enjoy it for years to come.

 

Is Peachtree jewellery made in Singapore?

We make all of our new collection pieces by hand in Singapore and Australia.  Unfortunately there are currently no manufacturing facilities for silicone jewellery in Singapore so some of our jewellery is also made offshore.  We chose our manufacturer because they maintain high standards of safety and humane conditions for their workers and they have a strong focus on quality.

 

How much is shipping?


Singapore based Peachtree customers pay a flat rate of $5.00 for registered postage with SingPost.

International shipping rates apply to deliveries outside Singapore.  Any duty taxes in the destination country are the responsibility of the receiver.

 

When will my order be dispatched?


Peachtree dispatches orders weekly each Friday.  If your order is urgent please do note it in the comments section at the checkout and we will be in touch to arrange an urgent dispatch if possible.

Over Xmas and CNY we may close for 2 weeks at a time – we will publicise this via our website and Facebook page.  We apologise for any inconvenience and will be sure to post your parcel as soon as we return.

 

How long will my order take to arrive?

Following dispatch, delivery time varies depending on the destination.  Allow 3-5 business days for Singapore deliveries and approx. 10 business days for any other major capital cities internationally.

 

What is your return/exchange policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase so please choose carefully.  All our products are carefully inspected prior to shipment.  As a result, we do not offer exchanges or refunds.  If for some reason Peachtree agrees to an exception, an exchange will be done if the item is in its original condition and packaging (unworn, unwashed and unaltered).  Unfortunately shipping costs are non-refundable.
